The famous home to the Loch Ness Monster, Loch Ness is the largest loch in Scotland at 22.5 miles long. It holds more water than all of inland England and Wales, with parts deeper than the North Sea. You can catch a boat from Inverness to the end of Loch Ness at Fort Augustus and you can also drive alongside the Loch with Urquhart Castle to view along the way.
